EFFECTIVE DATE: 12 August 2026
This policy explains how to cancel a Gevox subscription, what happens when you do, and when a refund is available. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every purchase made from Suryansh Sagar, trading as Gevox, registered at 3/200 Rakshapuram, Mawana Road, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, [250001].
Gevox is a software subscription delivered entirely online. There is no physical product, no shipment and nothing to return. Access is granted to your account immediately after your payment is confirmed. See our Shipping and Delivery Policy for how delivery works.
Every price shown on our pricing page is the full amount charged. Nothing is added at checkout.
You can cancel at any time, with no cancellation fee and no notice period. Cancel from the Subscription page inside your dashboard, or email us at grievance@gevox.in from the address on your account. We confirm every cancellation by email. If you do not receive that confirmation, assume the cancellation has not gone through and contact us.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep full access until that date. We do not cut your access off part-way through a period you have paid for, and we do not refund the unused remainder of that period.
So if you are billed monthly on the 8th and cancel on the 20th, you keep access until the 8th of the following month, and no further amount is debited. If you are billed annually, you keep access to the end of that annual period.
Cancelling stops the auto-debit mandate for that subscription. No further amount can be taken from your account under it. If any amount is debited after we have confirmed a cancellation, that is an error on our side and we refund it in full — see section 7.
Extra client slots and extra firm seats are separate monthly subscriptions, each with its own mandate and its own billing date. That means each one is cancelled independently, and cancelling one does not affect your main plan or any other add-on.
Removing an add-on is a cancellation, not a deduction: you keep that capacity until the end of the month you have already paid for. Add-ons are never prorated — if you add a slot on the 8th, you are billed on the 8th and on the 8th of each following month until you cancel it.
Indian recurring-payment rules do not allow the amount of a live auto-debit mandate to be changed. Moving to a different plan therefore means authorising a new mandate for the new plan and cancelling the old one. We will tell you this before you commit, never after.
We never cancel your existing mandate until the new one is successfully authorised, and during the changeover you hold the higher of the two plans. You will not lose access at any point in the process. If the new mandate is not authorised, nothing changes and your existing plan continues untouched.
Because there is no proration, an upgrade does not credit the unused part of your current period. You keep the access you paid for and the new plan begins alongside it.
The Starter Pass is a one-time payment for 30 days of access. It does not renew, cannot be extended, and one Pass may be claimed per person, once.
When the 30 days end, your account moves to a 15-day read-only period. You can still open and export everything you created — your work is never held hostage. After that it is locked until you choose a plan.
The Starter Pass is refundable in full within 48 hours of purchase if you have not yet created a client workspace or generated a document. After that it is non-refundable, because the Pass exists precisely to give you the full product to try.
We refund in full, without argument, in each of these cases:
• Duplicate charges. You were debited more than once for the same period.
• Charges after cancellation. An amount was taken after we confirmed your cancellation.
• Failed provisioning. Your payment succeeded but access was not granted, and we could not put it right.
• Charged at the wrong amount. The amount debited does not match the plan you bought.
In addition, if this is the first charge on a new subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of that charge, provided the account is substantially unused — meaning no client workspace beyond your first has been created, and no document has been generated or exported. This is a genuine try-it window, not a way to use the product and then reverse the payment.
• The unused remainder of a period after you cancel — you keep access instead.
• Renewal charges you did not intend but which were correctly notified in advance. Your bank and Gevox both notify you before every auto-debit. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid it.
• A subscription where the product has been used substantively — documents generated or exported, client workspaces built out, registers populated.
• Accounts suspended or terminated for a material breach of our Terms of Service.
• Dissatisfaction with a compliance outcome. Gevox is a tool that helps you work towards compliance; it cannot guarantee any regulatory result, and our Terms say so plainly.
Email grievance@gevox.in from the address on your account, with the payment date, the amount, and a one-line reason. You can also use our contact form.
• We acknowledge within 48 hours.
• We decide within 7 working days and tell you the outcome in writing, with reasons if we decline.
• Approved refunds are issued within 5 to 7 working days and usually reach your account within a further 5 to 7 working days, depending on your bank.
Refunds are always returned to the original payment method. We cannot send a refund to a different account, card or UPI ID.
If a renewal payment fails, we retry it and tell you. Your access continues during a short grace period so a bank issue does not lock you out of your own compliance records. If payment is still not received after that grace period, paid features are suspended until the account is brought up to date. Your data is not deleted at that point — see section 12.
Gevox is not registered for GST, as our turnover is below the registration threshold. We therefore issue a Bill of Supply for every payment, not a Tax Invoice, and no GST line appears on it. The amount you see is the amount you pay. If this changes, we will say so before it affects any renewal.
Cancelling does not delete your data straight away. Your account is retained, locked but recoverable, for a grace period during which paying again restores everything exactly as you left it. If the account is still unpaid after that, we send a notice before any deletion, in line with Section 8(7) of the DPDP Act 2023, and then erase the personal data we hold for you. Export anything you want to keep before then — export is available on every plan and during the read-only period. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
We may update this policy. Any change applies to purchases made after the new effective date shown above, never retrospectively to a subscription you have already paid for.
